The "CHOYA" ume (Japanese plum) experience specialty store "Choya" continues to spread the traditional Japanese culture of "ume" to the world. It offers Japanese ume culture in a modern style and aims to develop it as a "culture of fostering connections with important people," launching from Kyoto, the ancient capital that has preserved traditional culture, to the world.

A hands-on store where customers can handmade their own unique ume syrup and umeshu (plum wine) using carefully selected ingredients. Enjoy 100 combinations from just one ume. The store also offers take-out drinks and souvenirs that are only available there.

【Age restriction: This is a workshop where you can make umeshu and ume syrup. Making umeshu is limited to individuals aged 20 and over. 】
