Children from Japan and the Five Continents Unite Through Music, Spreading a Message of Peace from Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai NPO Heart & Earth will host the 3rd Five Continents Cultural Exchange Festival in Shin-Osaka from August 7 to 11, 2025. This event brings together children from Japan and the five continents—Oceania, North and South America, Africa, and Eurasia—to foster connections through music and dialogue. Through this experience, they develop an awareness that "the future is something we create and build ourselves." As a culmination of their journey, they will take the stage at the Pop-up Stage (East Outer) of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, where they will share their reflections and songs as a message for the future. Final Performance: Pop-up Stage (East Outer) At the Pop-up Stage (East Outer) of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, children from the five continents will perform "Earth Harmony", a song that unites the world through music. What is "Earth Harmony"? "Earth Harmony" represents the five continents as five elemental forces—Sky, Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth—, blending diverse cultures and musical traditions into one harmonious melody: Eurasia: "Sky" North America: "Wind" South America: "Fire" Oceania: "Water" Africa: "Earth" As these melodies merge, they create a vibrational harmony that envelops the entire planet, resonating in the hearts and very cells of the children, inspiring hope and peace for the future. In addition, children from the five continents will present songs they have written themselves, expressing their dreams and messages for the world. The event will also feature traditional African dance performances and other dynamic multicultural showcases, offering an immersive experience of the vibrant energy of diverse cultures. Finally, a special interactive moment will bring the audience and performers together in song, creating a powerful, shared experience of unity and harmony.
