Hot air balloon enthusiasts known as "Balloonists" gather from all over the country for the "Akita Sky Festa."

The 32nd event is held as the '20th Anniversary Project of Yokote City’s Municipal System', featuring a hot air balloon free flight, the regular hot air balloon tethered experience, and a balloon glow event. Enjoy the sight of leisurely hot air balloons drifting over the idyllic countryside with a view of Mount Chokai.

Free Flight: Starting each day at 6:00 AM (approximately 2 hours)
Hot Air Balloon Tethered Experience: Starting at 7:30 AM on May 3 and 4 (*Not conducted on May 5)
(Registration begins around 6:30 AM, first come, first served, up to 100 participants)
Balloon Glow: May 3 (Sat) from 19:00-19:30
