In 2022, our museum acquired all of Eguchi Hisashi's original manga artworks. On the eve of his 50th anniversary in the art industry, Eguchi remains active on the front lines and is supported by a wide range of generations as a symbol of Japanese pop culture.

This special exhibition focuses on his representative works such as "Susume!! Pirates" and "Stop!! Hibari-kun!", along with other works, selecting iconic scenes drawn with his innovative sense of humor. Following the past exhibitions "Eguchi Hisashi: KING OF POP" (2016) and "Eguchi Hisashi's RECORD Exhibition" (2021), this is the third memorial exhibition showcasing his manga original artworks in-depth.

Original goods are available for purchase at the museum shop, and there is a collaborative menu at the manga café, along with a stamp rally throughout the museum.
