Japan's largest wine event "Yamagata Winebal 2025" will be held grandly at Kaminoyama Onsen!

In May, when the fresh greenery is beautiful and a pleasant breeze blows through the Kaminoyama Onsen. Enjoy a relaxing time tasting carefully selected wines from all over Japan in a naturally rich hot spring area with the lingering snow of Mt. Zao in the background.

At the event, 57 wineries from all over Japan will gather. Offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Japan's distinctive wine culture with wine tasting experiences and limited edition wines.

Every wine is filled with the passion and skill of the maker, and you are sure to find your "favorite one." As the highlight, the brewers and owners of each winery will introduce their wines on site. This is an event not to be missed by wine lovers and professional buyers alike.

The venue is about a 5-minute walk from JR Kaminoyama Onsen Station (reception in front of Shonai Bank).
At the reception, you will receive 10 tickets that can be used for wine tasting, a special wine glass, and a glass holder. The first 3,000 guests each day will receive a limited edition "Yamagata Wine Bar 2025" glass and holder!

The event area is divided into 5 areas around Kaminoyama Castle, with a total of 57 wineries exhibiting. You can exchange tickets for your favorite wine, with the number of tickets required differing by wine type. Additional ticket purchases are possible on the day.

Furthermore, the venue will feature local gourmet delights such as Yonezawa beef, Yamagata beef, oysters, and tama konnyaku. Please enjoy the local flavors alongside wine.
