The event 'Osaka National Treasure Three Kannon Pilgrimage' offers a special experience touring three important Buddhist temples in the Minamikawachi area of Osaka: Katsuo-ji, Domyo-ji, and Kanshin-ji. Each of these temples enshrines a Kannon Bodhisattva designated as a national treasure, allowing visitors to deeply appreciate their cultural value. Each temple has its own unique charm, making them remarkable places to deeply experience history and culture. Katsuo-ji is renowned for its magnificent architecture and serene gardens, Domyo-ji stands out with its rich collection of Buddhist art, and Kanshin-ji offers a harmonious atmosphere with its natural surroundings and historic buildings. Notably, in this year's event, it has been decided to open the usually April 18-only display of the principal images on the day before, the 17th, allowing visitors to view these precious images up close over two days. To make the most out of this opportunity, it is recommended to take your time visiting all three temples, savoring each temple's unique features. Enjoy the tradition and culture peacefully and feel the history of Osaka firsthand.
