Located downstream of the Kirihoku Dam, this area sees a swarm of fireflies every late May. You can see three types of fireflies at once: Genji-botaru, Heike-botaru, and Hime-botaru. Each type has different light intensity, color, and blinking speed, so enjoy the differences in light. The event takes place from late May to early June 2025, from 18:30 to 21:00 during summer.
