Yoshiwara Gion Festival

吉原祇園祭
Held in the center of Tokaido Yoshihara Juku. Commonly known as "Otenosan," it inherits the flow of Kyoto's Gion Festival, praying to ward off evil spirits and diseases, passed down in the form of a festival. Participating towns are called by their old town names, and 21 decorated floats from each district are paraded around, along with mikoshi from each shrine. Additionally, there are over 200 stalls along Yoshiharamotomachi Street, which connects Yoshihara Central Station to Gakunan Railway's Yoshihara Honmachi Station, and the competition among the floats with unique characteristics from each town is worth seeing.
