The stage is Setouchi Town, located south of Amami Oshima in Kagoshima Prefecture. The event is held on the Oshima Strait, which lies between Amami Oshima and Kakeromajima. The race starts at Koniya Port, and participants can paddle the longest full marathon course, approximately 36 km, enjoying the island’s warm atmosphere. After the event, there will also be an after-party featuring performances such as island songs and dances by local volunteers, as well as a variety of shows by the main guests—one of the highlights of this event.
