The stage is set in Setouchi Town, located south of Amami Oshima in Kagoshima Prefecture. The race will take place in the Oshima Strait, which stretches between Amami Oshima and Kakeromajima. Starting at Koniya Port, participants will paddle approximately 36 km along the longest full marathon course in a warm island atmosphere. Additionally, after the race, a celebration event will be held where local volunteers perform island songs and dances, and main guests present a variety of stage performances, which is one of the attractions of this event.
