A traditional performance art that simulates the rice field farming process over a year to pray for abundant harvests. While similar performances can be seen throughout the country, this is the only place where the process from sowing to rice harvesting is consistently shown. The witty and light performances by two attendants called Saku Taro and Saku Jiro, in the style of Kyogen (traditional Japanese comic theater), are highlights.
