This festival began on May 5th in Showa year 25 to commemorate the achievements of Takehiko Kurushima, a children's literature writer and educator who left a significant mark on the history of Japanese children's literature. Planned activities include the fairy tale festival ceremony, festival parade, fairy tale theater, handmade corner, fish catching contest, and a 60-meter long jumbo carp streamer passage. On the day of the fairy tale festival, free parking is available around the venue. Please use the free shuttle bus to move from the parking area to each venue.
