A ritual will be held at the Suijin Shrine, and then a sluice gate penetrating the large rock beneath the shrine grounds will be opened. Water will be led into the nationally recognized historic site of Horikawa Canal, and the triple waterwheel of Asakura will begin operating. Held on June 17, 2025 (Monday) Same day every year.
