This period is a general term. Ōmura Park, one of the "100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan," is known as a flower-viewing spot in the prefecture. About 2,000 cherry trees bloom one after another from late March to mid-April, including the nationally designated natural monument "Ōmura Sakura." From late May to early June, approximately 100,000 clusters, about 300,000 iris flowers reach their best viewing. During the Ōmura Flower Festival, a light-up event is held to enjoy flowers' different appearances from daytime.
