The festival is held tomorrow, with a safety prayer ceremony at Myoken-sha, the main shrine of Nakamura Domain (located within the ruins of Nakamura Castle, now known as Soma Nakamura Shrine). The Soma Nomaoi is traditionally organized by the head of the Soma family, the former feudal lords.
