The walking event started in Heisei 15 with the aim to let more people know about "the beautiful town of Hanno blessed with greenery and clear streams". Courses ranging from 5km to 30km are available on both days. Each course offers the enjoyment of the vibrant and varied nature of fresh greenery. Hospitality with a 'heart of welcome' by the locals is one of the attractions. Interaction with the local people can also be enjoyed.
