"Teiitsu Festival" is a historical mountain event marking the opening of the Northern Alps Hakuba Mountain Range. On the day, there will be a trekking tour (paid) to Hakuba Daisekkei guided by local guides from the "Hakuba Mountain Guides Association," and a cross-mountain trekking tour of Hakuba Sanzan for intermediate to advanced participants only (paid, for advanced hikers). You can observe the blooming wildflowers in the snowy valleys, and trekking across the 2.5km long and 100m wide path to one of Japan's three major snow valleys is an experience unique to this area. Additionally, you can enjoy spring skiing and snowboarding on the snow valley (bring your own equipment). All participants will receive a limited edition commemorative pin badge (not for sale). After descending, there will be traditional offerings of pork soup and tempura of mountain vegetables.
