The fire festival held every year on the last Saturday and Sunday of May at the mid-slope of Takamatsuyama (elevation 339m) in Kabe Town. This fire prevention ritual is said to have a tradition of over 200 years. A large character shape with a vertical length of 45m and a width of 80m appears prominently in the early summer night sky against the majestic backdrop of Takamatsuyama.
