This is a reenactment of the procession when Tokugawa Ieyasu's spirit was reburied from Sunpu Kunozan to Nikko. On the 18th, an overwhelming spectacle of over 1,200 armored warriors and others marching back and forth on the approach: the "Hyakumono-zoroe Sennin Gyoretsu (Mikoshi Togyo Festival)." The "Yabusame Shinto Ritual" on the 17th, where archery is performed on horseback, is also worth seeing.
