Fushiki Hikiyama Festival 'Kenkayama'
伏木曳山祭「けんか山」
The spring festival of Fushiki Shrine, the god of coastal defense and maritime safety. Also known as 'Kenkayama,' a dynamic festival. During the day there are floral floats, and at night they turn into lantern floats. Six floats move to the rhythm of Yamaga-style Shutsujin Taiko drums, shaking lanterns vigorously and engaging in fierce clashes known as 'Katcha.'
