This event is held annually to celebrate the completion of the Heiwa Peace Pagoda, built in Showa 59 to commemorate the 1150th anniversary of Kobo Daishi's passing. Around 1,000 women from the city start dancing at noon from the front of JR Narita Station on Omotesando and proceed to dance in front of the Naritasan Gate. The dances are then dedicated before the grand main hall and around the Heiwa Peace Pagoda. The grand finale of the mass dance is magnificent.
