A rare women's only sumo tournament held every year on Mother's Day in early May. This is a special event unique to the town that produced two Yokozuna, Chiyonoyama and Chiyonofuji, attracting participants not only from all over Japan but also from abroad. In addition to luxurious prizes for the winners, there are special prizes that all participants have a chance to win, leading to intense competition.
