Located in the deepest part of the Shiga Kogen Ski Resort, on the southeastern slope of Mount Yokotaya, the Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort offers a variety of slopes that can be enjoyed by everyone, from families to advanced skiers. It boasts excellent snow conditions that last until early May, as well as a superior range of facilities and gourmet dining. The representative courses include the downhill course on the east side (toward Okushiga Gondola) and the expert course on the northeast side (toward Okushiga Kogen Hotel) accessible by the second high-speed pair lift. Both have skiing distances exceeding 2,000 meters.
