Komoro is the only entrance to 'Mt. Asama' in Japan. The 'Mt. Asama Opening' marks the start of the summer climbing season and includes a commemorative climb after the ceremony. On the day, please gather at the Mt. Asama trailhead (in front of Tengu Onsen Asama Sanso).
