Nasu-Dake (Chausu-Dake) Mountain Opening Festival
那須岳（茶臼岳）開山祭
The 'Nasu-Dake (Chausu-Dake) Mountain Opening Festival', which marks the start of the climbing season for the Nasu mountain range, will be held at Nasu-Dake Shrine on the summit of Chausu-Dake (1,915 meters). This festival prays for the safety of climbers. After the Shinto rituals conducted by the priest of Nasu Onsen Shrine, participants will enjoy the springtime Nasu Mountain Range.
