This is not a speed competition, but a mini-marathon where you can enjoy the sights of Obuse and have fun. It's an 'Enso', a running event connecting the bonds between Obuse and everyone. Obuse welcomes 1.2 million tourists annually, which is 100 times the local population. Instead of the 'ON way' (official streets) usually taken by visitors, this marathon takes you on the 'OFF way'—dykes, trails, alleys—immersed in the everyday life of Obuse for 21 kilometers.
