Sentai Kojin Grand Festival
千躰荒神大祭
The Sentai Kojin enshrined in Kaiun Temple has been worshipped by many as the god of the hearth and the guardian deity of the kitchen since the Edo period. During the festival, homa fires are lit all day and amulets are distributed. Stalls line the path from the temple precincts to Aomonoyokocho Station, attracting a large number of visitors.
