Oda Shrine Annual Festival

織田神社例祭
This is a festival held every year on May 11 at Oda Shrine, where the youth of the Sada district carry the portable shrine. Additionally, there are performances of the King's Dance, performed by boys from the Sada district, and the Lion Dance, performed by adult men from the Ota district. The characteristic of both the King's Dance and the Lion Dance is the numerous strong stamping movements. The festival concludes with proclamations by representatives of the Yamashiro district. It is a traditional rite that preserves ancient methods.
