The Hatsumi Festival, held for a week starting from the first Hatsumi day in May every year, allows special worship at the main sanctuary, attracting many visitors. Additionally, on Sundays during the festival, the mikoshi (portable shrine) descends from the main sanctuary to the pier's travel site to perform a seawater purification ceremony and then returns to the main sanctuary. *Please note that you cannot attend the eve festival the day before the Hatsumi Festival unless you participate in the lodging on that day.
