Since the ski resort is located at an altitude of 1,350 meters on the slopes of Mt. Nishiazuma, snowfall starts early, and you can enjoy skiing from late November to the Golden Week in May. The Tsugamori slope at the top of the ski area offers views of unique frost-covered trees from mid-January, and on sunny days, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of famous mountains in Yamagata Prefecture like Chokai, Gassan, Zao, and Iide. The area offers excellent snow quality and a rich natural environment. For accommodations, Shirabu Onsen, boasting a 700-year history and thatched roofs, is located at the foot of the ropeway, and you can choose from lodges and pensions.
