In the 10th year of the Kansei era, with the establishment of the Nakazu Shrine, a market for agricultural tools began to form around the shrine, and since then it has been bustling with people wishing for the development of commerce, with this traditional "market (ichi)" festival. There are participating and experiential spaces such as the Shinkawa Marche, which features various miscellaneous goods and food stalls, and "The Power of Flowers and Green", which conducts workshops and events themed around flowers and greenery.
