A powerful festival with three gigantic Tachineputa, approximately 23 meters high and weighing about 19 tons each, leading the parade as various groups' Tachineputa and Neputa march around the city. The sight of the large Tachineputa peeking from the building gaps is breathtaking. Additionally, on August 3, the day before the festival, the 'Goshogawara Fireworks Festival' is held, with 5,000 splendid fireworks lighting up the summer night sky. Held from August 4 to August 8, every summer on the same dates, in the center of Goshogawara City.
