The Ikazaki Giant Kite Battle is a traditional valiant event where hundreds of kites are flown from both banks of the Odagawa River, which flows through the center of the town, and they cut each other's lines with a tool called "Gagari." On the day, besides the Giant Kite Battle, there will be kite dancing, a performance of the Giant Kite Drums, and the Hundred Tatami Giant Kite. Designated as an intangible folk cultural asset by Ehime Prefecture.
