Approximately 70,000 hydrangeas are planted on Mikane Mountain in Higashihazucho, Nishio City. The Mikane Mountain Skyline, approximately 5.1 km connecting Higashihazu in Nishio City to Katahara Onsen, is also known as the Hydrangea Line. The "Mikane Mountain Hydrangea Festival" takes place from early June to late June. Come and see the beautifully blooming hydrangeas against the backdrop of Mikawa Bay. On weekends during the period, gifts will be given at the toll booth as a service day (first come, first served), and on June 21, the "Hydrangea Festival" will be held.
