It is said that this event was started to comfort the souls of those who died in the Genpei Water Island battle. Various dances, such as male dances and female dances, are performed simultaneously in one circle following a common rhythm. As it is a dance to comfort spirits, instead of clapping hands, the hands are brought together in prayer-like positions, making it a unique dance. From August 13 to 15, it is held in front of Shiraishi Community Center, and on August 16 at the beach.
