The Zama Giant Kite Flying is a traditional event boasting over 200 years of history. The sight of a massive 13-meter square and approximately 1,000kg kite soaring in the sky, pulled by over 100 people, is spectacular. It is also chosen as one of the 50 selected festivals of Kanagawa and attracts many spectators every year.
