This is a historical traditional event that began in the mid-Edo period, where participants dress up as lords, princesses, and samurais, creating a historic picture scroll. Additionally, the procession is enlivened by the parade of two splendid floats, designated as tangible folklore cultural assets of Kariya City, along with the unique actions and chants of the classic-style 'Nu no Neri', an intangible cultural asset of the city, inherited unchanged since the Edo period.
