The Hikiyama Event of the Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha Shrine Festival
土崎神明社祭の曳山行事
The main event of the "Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha Annual Festival," which was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016 (Heisei 28). This festival has a history dating back to the Edo period, and it is held to ward off misfortune in the town and to pray for the good health and safety of the people.
