Izunuma and Uchinuma Lotus Festival
伊豆沼・内沼はすまつり
Izunuma and Uchinuma are precious natural resources registered under the Ramsar Convention. During the Lotus Festival, you can enjoy a close-up view of the blooming lotus flowers covering the entire lake from a sightseeing boat. (Morning rides are recommended.) The lake's surface area is 491 hectares, making it one of the largest in Japan. The shining lotus flowers evoke the image of paradise and fascinate all who see them. Be sure to visit during the event period to cool off by the water and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Fees: Adults 800 yen, Children 500 yen (Sightseeing boat ride is about 30 minutes)
