Twelve festival floats from various town councils in Ome City gather at Sumiyoshi Shrine and proceed along the Ome Kaido road. The voices of the work chants can be heard gallantly echoing along the Ome Kaido. The floats are pulled by men and women of all ages dressed in matching happi coats and headbands. The highlight of this festival is the 'competition' seen each time the floats pass by each other.
