The Himeshima Fish Festival is held at the Himeshima Port Ferry Plaza every late May. There is a tasting event where sashimi, fried fish, and soups made from seasonal fish of Himeshima can be enjoyed, followed by a performance of the Kitsune dance and Aya dance. Additionally, those who purchase meal tickets can enter a lottery to win seafood. Additionally, complimentary island tour buses and Asagimadara butterfly viewing buses will be available.
