Terashita Kannon, the first temple of the Oshu Nanbu Nunabe 33 Kannon pilgrimage in Hashikami Town, Sannohe District, Aomori Prefecture. Inside the Kannon Hall, there is a statue of Kannon said to have been brought by the high priest Gyoki over a thousand years ago. Within the precincts, Kannon statues for the Saigoku 33 Kannon pilgrimage are enshrined, and it is believed that visiting here brings benefits. During the festival, people pray for health, family safety, abundant harvest, and maritime safety, attracting many worshipers from inside and outside the prefecture, creating a solemn atmosphere with bell sounds ringing throughout the day.
