Hachinohe Park is a comprehensive park consisting of nine zones, including a botanical garden zone, lawn plaza zone, amusement park zone, and Sakura Forest zone. There are about 2,000 cherry blossom trees in the park, mainly Someiyoshino cherry trees. After the Someiyoshino cherry trees are in full bloom, other varieties such as Yaezakura continue to bloom, extending the viewing period. The Japanese monkeys on Monkey Mountain are also popular.
