The "Nemagaritake bamboo shoot" is a highly popular mountain vegetable in Nozawa Onsen, often enjoyed as grilled bamboo shoots or in bamboo shoot soup. It's a local delicacy of Northern Shinshu available only during this period. We are hosting the "Nozawa Onsen Bamboo Shoot Festival" to let everyone savor the seasonal taste of "Nemagaritake bamboo shoots."\r
During the festival, a stall village will be set up in the back alleys of the hot spring town, offering a variety of bamboo shoot dishes.\r
