Kurikara Prefectural Park is a famous historical site known for Kusunoki no Yoshinaka's surprise attack tactic 'Kagyuu no Kei' to defeat the Heike army. Many historical sites related to the Genpei War remain here. In spring, around 6,000 double cherry blossoms bloom magnificently. It is recommended to take a stroll along the renovated Old Hokuriku Road while enjoying the cherry blossoms.
