Held once every three years, it is a Yabusame ceremony presented as an offering to the Hagi Hiyoshi Shrine by three families from Myokaku-go (Tokigawa Town), who are said to be the retainers of Kiso Yoshinaka, and four families from Ogawa-go. It is said to have begun in the first year of Tenfuku (1233), continuing the brave image of medieval Musashi warriors to this day.
