This historical traditional event, which originated in the Edo period, was revived in the 7th year of the Heisei era. Each year the number of stalls and shoppers increases, becoming a well-established year-end tradition. Events held at Moriyama-juku on the Nakasendō, now a pedestrian paradise, include parade performances and rice cake giveaways, offering enjoyment for both adults and children!
