The Kujukurihama Triathlon (abbreviated as 99T) is the largest triathlon race in Japan, held at Kujukuri Beach in Chiba Prefecture. Approximately an hour and a half drive from Tokyo, it is a rare event held near the city center, offering a spectacular location at the grand beachside of Kujukuri. 99T is an ideal event for first-time triathletes. With a straight bike course with few curves, enjoying the refreshing and pleasant sea breeze while running along the beachside, all courses are flat, so beginners can participate with ease. At the finish venue, participants can enjoy events, grilled clams, and local specialties.
