Ishigakiyama Kannonji "First Kannon Grand Festival" (Fire Walking)
石垣山観音寺「初観音大祭」（火渡り）
A traditional event at Ishigaki Kannonji, where a Goma fire ritual is conducted. Worshippers walk barefoot over charcoal while chanting sutras to fulfill their wishes. Every year, more than 3,000 gomaki (wood pieces inscribed with wishes for a year of health and safety) are collected and thrown into a majestic fire one by one by practitioners as part of the prayer. 10:00〜 Main Hall Opening 11:00〜 Fire Crossing
