Oketo Summer Festival & Human Banba Competition
おけと夏まつり・人間ばん馬大会
"Ningen Banba" is a competition where participants pull a sled made of iron loaded with logs over an 80-meter dirt course. The preliminary round involves a weight of 300 kg, while the final round involves 500 kg. There are two obstacles approximately 1.2 meters high along the track. The competition is fiercely contested every year.<\/p>
