Located to the east of Kiyosato Town, Mt. Shari, considered as the symbolic mountain of the town, is selected as one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. It is a stratovolcano at an altitude of 1,547 meters and part of the volcanic group in the Shiretoko Peninsula. Participants of the mountain opening ceremony will receive commemorative gifts.
